Yeah, yeah…I’ve heard it all. So what if the Cubbies got swept? Big deal. It’s happened before, it’ll happen again. But next year is their year for sure. How do I know? Cause it’s 2008. Every baseball fan knows the last time the Cubs won the World Series was 1908 (rivals know because you like to tease us, Cubs fans know because we’ve been counting down to the 100 year anniversary). Next year is our year. Who wants to win after a mere 99 years? Well, I do, but that’s beside the point. Ain’t gonna happen. But next year we’re golden.
