I’m trying to follow the whole twitter thing (I’ve been reading Michael’s tweets since he posted his twitter address on the DGLM blog), but frankly, I don’t think I get it. Is it just basically a super-short email? Do you do it from your phone or your computer or both? I hadn’t even heard of twitter until Michael blogged. Sigh. What’ll they think of next?!
I just sent you a follow request — but if you really want to connect with people, you shouldn’t protect your updates. If you leave them open, then people will be able to read your tweets and decide whether they want to follow you or not. (I’ve been twittering for a while now)
