Not every book event is SRO

I’ll admit it. I’ve done a signing/reading for three people. Okay, truth be told, I even did one for no one. Well, I didn’t actually go through with it because I have to draw the line somewhere…talking to myself just was a bit too much. Instead, the store set up a table and I talked to people as they came in. That was fine. It was fun. However, not nearly as funny as this piece in The Onion. Probably anyone who’s been to a book signing will get a laugh out of it, but seasoned writers beware, put down your drinks before reading it because I’m not responsible for soda shooting out of your nose and get all over your computer when you laugh too hard while reading it!
