Okay…not two books you probably see lumped together often, but I enjoyed them both. MISSING YOU is a follow-up, last-book, tie-up-the-endings novel from Meg Cabot in her 1-800-WHERE-R-YOU series. Yeah, I LOVED it. She’s really good at those last books in the series. It’s brand new even though she wrote the series quite a while ago. Read ’em all.
GEMINI SUMMER is the Governor General’s Award winner for 2007 by Iain Lawrence and is definitely worth picking up. It’s what you might call a “quiet” book, but it sort of stuns you overall with its elegance.
