I finally got a hold of a copy of this book and ended up reading it in two sittings (one day). I “virtually” know Jo Knowles, but so do a lot of people because she runs that write a book in two and a half month thingie which is a spin-off of the write a book in a month. Anyway, I’d been hearing good things about this book all over the web, so I was glad to read it. It’s extremely well written and just a very moving book. It is one of those page turners that we all hope to write too! Just because some of you moms out there asked me to mention this when applicable, I think this falls on the older side of YA (maybe 14 and up?). It would be a good one for the parent to read and then hand off to the kid – you know, read and discuss amongst yourselves.
