I don’t put all my friends’ birthdays on my blog, but my critique group members get special shouts out on their birthdays because without them, I’d be lost – both in writing, and in friendship – they are stars! And today is Alexa’s birthday. She has an excellent blog here, if you want to check it out. And mark my words, someday you’ll know her as an author!

I’m a bit late in wishing you a happy birthday, Alexa, but I hope it was a good one! I just went to your blog, read a few pages, and took my time looking through the link to the 21 pictures to restore your faith in humanity. By picture #21, I was crying like a baby.
