tiaraI’m kind of sad to say this, but today is my last day blogging over at The Debutante Ball. I’ve gotten used to Fridays over there and I hope you’ve enjoyed the Ball too. The good news is that a whole new group of debut authors are taking over and I’m sure they’ll provide lots of fun and entertainment in the year to come, so I hope you’ll pop over there and check them out next week.

I started my reign as a Deb with a recipe, and I’m ending with one, so go on over there, get my recipe and make yourself a batch of Deb Joelle’s Famous Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies.

In other news, Wordstock Festival is really gearing up for some fun. I’ll be sharing the stage with none other than the fabulous writer Cecil Castellucci, author of some great books like Boy Proof and Beige. If you haven’t read her novels, I highly recommend them. I’ll be taking the stage at 4pm on Sunday, October 10th.

Also, it looks like I’ll be at Mosaic Books in Kelowna, BC on October 1st – details to come.

And while I haven’t seen it, I’ve heard a rumour that Powell’s Books has a dystopian sale going to celebrate the release of Mockinjay and they’ve included Restoring Harmony in the display. If you live in Portland, check it out!

And that’s about it for this week. What have you been up to?
