I just got the BEST Book Birthday present possible! In the bottom of the ninth, in true dramatic fashion, the Chicago Cubs scored 4 runs to take the lead and then Chapman came in and struck out the side, giving the Cubs the win and eliminating the San Francisco Giants. I’ve been waiting 34 years (a paltry number compared to many Cubs fans) for something like this and I’m here to say, that being a Cubs fan has prepared me for a life in publishing in so many ways, but especially when it comes to hope and cultivating never-ending optimism. Go Cubs Go!
