omg, Joelle. This video is so funny. I sent links to both my kids and my husband; cinema in our family is like sports in a normal family. “The guys who make all the money” being the crew… rofl. That’s like YA advances equaling Grisham’s!
But what I really, really want to know is…how on earth did a Door County T-shirt end up in Oregon? Door County, Wisconsin, is the Cape Cod of the Midwest, a peninsula that juts out into Lake Michigan (Green Bay is what they call the water on the west side of the peninsula). It’s a wonderful place except on weekends in July and August, when the highways are clogged with way too many cars. (Again, just like the Cape!)
Why is it called Door County, you ask? Oh. You didn’t ask. I’m going to tell you anyway. The tourist literature doesn’t exactlyl highlight this, but there’s a strait at the top between the mainland and Washington Island that is so rough most of the time that many, many boats didn’t make it through in the old days. The voyageurs named the strait La Porte des Morts … which I probably don’t have to translate.
If there’s a Door County on the west coast, I withdraw the previous two paragraphs…

Ha ha! That’s too great! Moving from 2nd best-selling action figure to future best-selling novelist. Hurray for you!
