Read KING CREATURE, COME over the last two days. It’s quite different from most of what JRT writes and it was a bit shocking to read after all these years because I didn’t really remember it at all. I liked it, but I have to keep this short. The computer’s making me woozy lately. I think I need glasses. I do have an appointment.

I’ve got the husband reading John Rowe Townsend now. He’s a fan, but he’s only read a few of his books. I started him with GUMBLE’S YARD last night and he blew through it and is almost done. Would’ve kept going but it was 1am. He really loved it and kept saying, “This is such a boy book. Twelve year old boys would love this!” so if you’ve got a boy…there you go!
