Don’t tell my Italian friends because I’m sure they won’t believe it, but the light here in Finland can be just as amazing as Tuscany. Often when we’re eating our supper around 7pm (and now later as the days get longer), the light will take your breath away. Sometimes pink, sometimes orange, sometimes everything magical.
Tonight, I went for a walk at ten o’clock and it was so light I had to take pictures to show you. Ida told us that in summer, it’s only dark for about three and a half hours per night. And not very dark then. Here are my photos. In the last one, if you look very closely, you can see a toenail moon and Venus.
