TO CATCH A MERMAID by Suzanne Selfors

mermaidcover.jpg This is a lovely and delightful middle grade story. A little bit magic and a lot of heart. If you love Jean Ferris’ books, you won’t want to miss TO CATCH A MERMAID because it’s just as wacky and fun, which is unusual and hard to find. It’s also a very exciting story, and from a writer’s point of view, she does an excellent job of ratcheting up the tension and keeping you turning those pages. I read the whole thing this evening. Oh, and if any of you are wondering how I have time to read a book a day, well, I ain’t been writin’ much, but that’s all about to change, so you’ll have plenty of time to catch up over the next month or two! Enjoy! Selfor’s has a new book out too, that I’m anxious to get a hold of, called SAVING JULIET.
