Well, I'm not exactly a real writer, but I DO write... Papers, Exams, Proposals, you name it! This University thing is time consuming! What do I do when I get stuck? Farmville! I escape to a little facebook application and play on a virtual farm with virtual animals and crops. I don't even have to leave my room! Oh, I also check out the Sunday Soup Blog (way to not post anything until Wednesday this week Joelle and then not post anything exciting -- don't think I didn't notice!)and of course The Debutante Ball blog and this blog occasionally. There are many, many ways to avoid working when you have an internet connection... oh wait, this blog is about how to KEEP working... hmm.

Thanks for this post, Joelle. Everyone is so brave and wise and admirable--quite inspiring, really. As I was reading everyone's comments and visiting the blogs you suggested, I remembered the book ART & FEAR: Observations on the Perils (and Rewards) of Artmaking. This book, which was recommended to us by Darcy Pattison, is a good way to shore up after rejections. Art is a process. And it happens to be a process that teaches true courage.

Oh I love Eve's advice, although I would say everything else is icing, being a dessert girl ;)

Lots of fellow chocolate eaters I see!
