Title Page editedI’ve had so much good news in the last week, but I’ll start with the best…I’m very excited to announce that Second Story Press is going to publish my first Middle Grade Novel, A Month of Mondays. It’s tentatively scheduled for release in spring of 2017. Click on the image to see it a bit larger so you can read it. I created it as a title page for the manuscript and was feeling quite clever when I made it, but then I couldn’t figure out how to add it to my document, so you know…it doesn’t pay to think you’re too smart! Still, it’s cute, don’t you think?

In other excellent news, I have been asked back to Vancouver Public Library‘s Kids Book Camp. I was there a few years ago workshopping with the younger kids, but this August I’ll be leading workshops for teen writers. I’m pretty excited about it as it’s a lot of fun, and I get to spend a week in Vancouver with the fabulous Eileen Cook.

The last bit of excellent news isn’t really mine, but I intend to share the glory. My husband has been nominated for a Vancouver Island Music Award for his 2015 CD release Mystery Loves Company.
