I had a great topic for today. I’d written the post in my head…but alas, it has totally flown the coop. I have no clue what words of wisdom I’d planned to impart. So…instead, I’ll share something that happened over the weekend.
My husband and I went to see a documentary called No Impact Man. It’s a movie about a guy in New York City, and his family, who set out to leave no impact on the world for one year. While there is an element of hype to it (he was writing a book – great platform!), it’s also an amazing, hilarious, informative, and inspiring movie. His wife is so funny! The movie left me with more questions than answers, but it also got us thinking about what else we can do to be more active in the “smaller-footprint” lifestyle we claim to live.
We’ve already made one BIG pledge for next year, so check back in January to find out what it is! Have you seen this movie? Watch the trailer, and tell me what you think. I’ve put the book on hold at the library, so it will be interesting to read about their year in more detail.
